What can I do to win fantasy football every time? I chose this topic because I really like football. I also really enjoy fantasy football. I wanted to know how to always win in fantasy football. I wanted to know the best way to draft. I think the best way to draft was to draft wide receivers. That is a pretty good strategy for drafting, but I found one that could be better. I already know that drafting wide receivers helps because when I’ve drafted good wide receivers I’ve made the playoffs twice with one championship in three seasons.
The one season I didn’t make the playoffs I won the consolation playoffs. One thing I wanted to learn was I wanted to know more about team’s offensive lines. The only offensive line I know is really good is the Dallas Cowboys. Everyday I did a lot. Here is my search journal. Day 1 1 filled out 8 note cards on the best way to draft. Then I barely got started on my second question. Day 21 searched theses 2 questions: How do I know who to start every week? and Who are the best players to pick up? When I searched those questions, google only gave me specific weeks. I asked Mr.
Halvorson about the problem and he said to use the word strategy. That helped me a lot for the second question but not for the first. I was gone for research in class so I did some research over the weekend. Day 3 over the weekend I finished all of the note cards I grabbed. Most of those note cards were about some experts advice for fantasy football. Then I searched for resources. The resources were apps to help me win. I couldn’t get all the apps because I ran out of note cards. Day 4 1 finished writing down all the apps. Then I looked for tips for setting my fantasy lineup.
It still came up with specific weeks. Mr. Halvorson then changed something, I’m not sure exactly hat he did but I got a resource that gave me good information on that question. On my last day of research I got about 5 or 6 note cards done. In total I got 31 note cards. The very first information I found while researching was the best way to draft a team. It says in round 1I should draft a running back or wide receiver. In round 21 should draft a running back or wide receiver. In round 3 draft a running back or wide receiver and in round 4 draft the one you didn’t take in round 3.
In round 5 draft a running back, wide receiver or a star quarterback. Round 6 draft a running back or wide receiver. In ound 7 draft a running back, wide receiver, tight end or maybe even a quarterback. In round 8 draft the best player available, but if you don’t have a QB or TE then draft one. During round 9 you should draft the best player available or look for sleepers. In round 10 draft Stephen Gostkowski because he’s the best kicker. If he’s not open then draft a RB or WR. Round 11 draft a backup QB, RB, WR or TE. Round 12 and 13 take the best player available. In round 14 take the best defense on the board.
And lastly in round 15 draft the best kicker unless you already have Stephen Gostkowski (Michael Fabiano). During my search I also found experts advice on drafting your fantasy football team. Stacie Stern (general manager of Head2Head Sports) says the top three picks for the 2016-17 NFL fantasy season should be 1. Antonio Brown 2. Todd Gurley 3. David Johnson. Will Carroll (managing editor of FanDuel) thinks the top 3 picks should be 1. Antonio Brown 2. Odell Beckham Jr. 3. Julio Jones. Rick Wolf (president of Fantasy Alarm) says the top three picks should be 1. Antonio Brown 2. Julio Jones 3. David Johnson.
Rick Wolf has some other advice for drafting a team. He thinks you should ake 3 running backs in the first 4 rounds. Another tip he a has is to make a list of players you want to draft at each position. He also recommends to cross off all players with injuries or suspensions (except for star players like Tom Brady and Le’Veon Bell). Rick Wolf has other tips, not just for drafting. He says to always watch the waiver wire, there’s always going to be a sleeper. One of Will Carroll’s tips is to be aware of teams depth chart. A second receiver could be better than the first. Will also says it’s all all about the matchups.
Stacie Stern’s advice is to be aware of your league rules. Watch out for injury prone players. Paying attention to the coaches, coordinators and offensive lines. Bill Belichick is obviously the best coach and the cowboys offensive line is obviously the best. Stacie’s last tip is to know your college football. Ezekiel Elliott was one of the best or the best fantasy running back this season and this is his rookie season. If you saw what he did at Ohio State and you thought he was good you were probably more likely to draft him than someone who doesn’t even watch college football (Will Levith).
When I was searching for information on how to set my fantasy ootball lineup it was really hard because Google only gave me specific weeks. Fortunately I eventually found something. The information I found is start players who are up against worse defenses. Look at lock times. If someone is questionable and playing later in the day have a backup plan. The final tip look at bye weeks. “This sounds easy but just wait. Owners always forget. ” (Alex Welch). The next question is who are the best players to pick up? This was a little tough to find to because it also gave me specific weeks, but this was easier to find.
What I ound says when you’re putting the most desirable players or positions you want first and the less desirable last. The other tip for adding players is to wait for the waivers to clear (No author found). The very last thing I searched was resources to help me win fantasy football. I found 5 apps to help me win. The first one is the ESPN Fantasy Sports app. It’s set up real well. I gave that app and I think it’s really good. The second app is Yahoo Fantasy Sports. It gives you stat updates, expert analysis and you can do mock drafts. The third one is called Footballguys Draft Dominator.
It has recent news, cheat sheets, rankings and projections. The last two are RotoWire draft kit and RotoWire Fantasy News center. The draft kit includes dynamic cheat sheets and depth charts. The news center has up to date news about team transactions, player injuries and other happenings league wide (Rick Stella and Nick Hastings). The answer to my main question is if I want to win at fantasy football every time I need to draft well, pick up the right players and pay attention to my lineup. Why what I learned is important is because I can be better at fantasy football than my friends and crush them while also inning all the money.
I can help other people for a percentage of their winnings if they win. I also gain more knowledge on the subject of football and I can maybe have a job in the future that involves football. I think the next step for me is to use these tips to win every time. I found everything I wanted, but it would’ve been useful if I found better information on setting my lineup and adding players. I wanted to know more about types of players to start in some situations and the best types of players to add. I am going to use this information to win fantasy football.
