Essay about Personal Narrative: Oppression Of Animals

One sunny day my 65 billion brothers and I were eating our way through the jungle of South Africa looking for food when we stumbled among a plantation. A man named Leiningen owned this plantation. Since us ants eat everything in our line of vision it looks like Leiningen might be in some trouble later. Our line of vision was about 2 miles wide and 10 miles long, but My brothers and I marched on and kept eating and eating….. Well my brothers and I ate our way through the jungle scaring every animal we encountered.

The animals ran in the hundreds, running like they all lost their minds. Some animals didn’t make it out, I saw my brothers eat a whole pampas stag under 6 minutes, it was covered in ants. At one point it didn’t even look like an animal anymore, it just looked like a big black blob covered in ants. While we was eating everything in our path the District Commissioner was warning Leiningen about us and giving him advice to leave for suffer the consequences that he will soon face. Well Leiningen was cocky and decided to stay and fight. He was confident that nothing would stand in his way.

His men decided to also stay because they realized the bravery Leiningen had to face us vicious ants we marched on and we come upon a moat, on the other side of the moat was Leinnigen and his men watching and thinking of how to get rid of us. There was also a dam where one of Leiningen men controlled the water flow through the moat. We started our way up the nearby trees to get leaves to use as boats to get across the moat. Leiningen and his men realized what we were up too and he order one of his men at the dam to flood the moat.

As my rothers started to cross the moat some of them were swept away by the water but also some of my fellow brother made it across. As the water level lowered we started to make our way back cross the moat once again one of Leiningen’s men flooded the moat, some of my brother made of successfully but others didn’t. The water level started to swell down again as I found my bravery to attempt to cross the moat. I grabbed a leaf that was next to me and jumped in. I paddled about half way across and noticed Leiningen’s men getting ready to flood it again so i bit the bullet and paddled like there was no tomorrow.

I successfully made it across just as they filled the moat again, stood there in horror as I watched my fellow brothers get swept away again. Well Leiningen noticed we started making it across the moat and he shot his gun 3 times and all his men retreated back to the Petrol filled ditch. Well we started eating everything that was in our way, we also attacked the man that was controlling the dam, he apparently had fallen asleep. He finally woke up and realized we was attacking him and he took off running, leaving the dam down leaving the water level low.

Since the water level was now low my brother started making their way across the moat by the hundreds. Leiningen had no chance against us, he will soon later find that out. We continue eating through all of Leiningen’s plantation. We ate and ate which gave time for Leiningen and his men to decide what to do next. Leiningen and his men chose to stay and fight, they all had a chance to leave but they believe their leader that then would make it out. Well we ate our way through all of Leiningen’s crops when we finally made it to Leiningen second line of defence the petrol filled ditch. e did the same thing like last time we used the trees for our defence, we climbed them and got all the leaves to make our way across and make our attack.

My fellow brothers starter there way across as Leiningen lit his cigar and threw it in the petrol filled ditch and burn my brothers to their death. Leiningen used half of a tank of petrol he only had 3 tanks, so he could only refill the ditch 4 more times. Realizing this, he thinks to himself that he may lose, or have to find a way to destroy us. When the petrol was gone we run our way across and yet again Leiningen refilled the ditch and lit it and burnt my brother once again.

I watched in horror as my brothers burnt to their deaths. Now it was my time to cross after the petrol had burnt away, i was running across along side me was my brothers that survived and we had barely made it across when einingen’s men refilled the ditch again. We made our way across and LEiningen had a big tall concrete fence surrounding his house. We started crawling up the wall, we could hear Leiningen’s men screaming and panicking. We made it over the wall and started eating everything in our way. Leiningen’s men were throwing things at us, trying to kill us with brooms, rocks, sticks, Just anything they could find.

We continued to eat. Around this time Leiningen decided to make a decision for the sake of his men and plantation. He decided to make a run for the dam and flood the plantation. He got suited up and doused himself in gasoline. We saw him walk out start running towards the dam, my fellow brothers started attacking him but Leiningen kept running. He finally made it to the dam and We had already covered the wheel but he still grabbed it and started to twist and turn. The ditches started to fill just as we started our way through Leiningen’s suit and started biting and eating.

Leiningen started to run back to the plantation we he tripped and fell; we just covered him. Thinking about a stag he had seen the ants devour to the bones, he forces himself to get up. Suffering terrible injuries, including ant bites inside his nose and directly below his eyes, Leiningen continues running, reaches the ditch with the blazing petrol, and made his way back inside. The plantation stared flooding drowning my fellow brothers and I killing us. Leiningen was in a comma, when he suddenly woke and told his men that were surrounding him; “I told you I would come back, even if I am a bit streamlined” and slowly fell back asleep.
