My dad was the person that named me Brian. Knowing him, I was pretty lucky to get a normal name. I’m surprised that it wasn’t something strange or funny-sounding. My siblings have pretty normal names too. My brother is William and my sister is Jennifer. My middle name is Robert. It was given to me because it is my father’s name, and his middle name is his father’s name, and so on. I guess my parents wanted to keep the tradition. My last name is Guedes. It has run in the family for as long as I can remember. My last name is Cuban, just like everyone in my family. My parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, ect. are all fully Cuban and I’m proud of that.

It was the day I came into this world, even though I was pretty early, and one of the most special birthdays to my parents as well. It’s a day that is more likely than not all about me and I usually end up getting some gifts. Some people see birthdays as a sign of getting old, but I like seeing them as a milestone of another year of living and another chapter in my life and that is the way I would like to continue to see it in that way.
My favorite Sport
I love to play almost every sport there is. Out of all of them, my favorite sport has to basketball. I have played it all my life and plan on continuing to do so. I have played on many different teams, ranging from YMCA teams to playing on my middle school and high school team.
