Kymora-Lee Sue Chung Hing is a multitalented, vibrant, thirteen year old. She is outgoing and loves to laugh. She has an exuberant personality. She is gifted in many different talents and hobbies, and she absolutely loves her culture. Although haven’t known her for very long, I have learned quite a bit about her and her interests. In fact, I have gathered some into depth information about her. Kymora-Lee Sue Chung Hing was born on September 12, 2002, to Suzanne and Floyd Hing. Kymora was born in the frenzied city of Brooklyn, New York.
After living there for a while, Kymora moved to Trinidad, which is located in the continent of the Caribbean. While there, Kymora had the pleasure of experiencing the remarkable scenery and culture of the Kymora ventured back to the United States and moved to Virginia. She has been in Virginia ever since. Kymora has a distinctive ethnic of West Indian and Asian. She celebrates and embraces her culture frequently. Kymora has four siblings and two loving parents. Kymora has a distinctive taste for food and a broad palette. Her Caribbean background has allowed her to explore cuisines of tropic islands and countries.
Some of those cuisines are: beef patties, coco bread, curry chicken, and jerk chicken. Her favorite restaurant is Bahama Breeze, and she loves tropical foods. Kymora also has a forte for cooking. Her mom has a food business called Suki’s Kitchen. Kymora helps her mom cook and cater food all the time. Kymora has competed, and dominated in many sports. Some sports she has played are: swimming, dance, track, and soccer. Out of all of these sports, Kymora’s favorite is track. Kymora has won a trophy in Drama Club, which involves acting and playing a part of someone you’re not. Not everyone has this gift. Kymora also likes to dance and sing.
Her mom is a Zumba instructor, which means Kymora knows various choreographies and dance routines. She also has a beautiful voice, and doesn’t mind sharing it with those around her. She admires the art of dancing. When she was younger, she attended and competed with Evelyn OTT School of Dance. She even had the pleasure of appearing on television, and winning a trophy to prove it. Kymora took a break from dancing, but has recently restarted it. Kymora is apart of “Ordered Steps,” the dance ministry at Faith Deliverance Christian Center. Kymora has done a proficient job in school. She attended Granby Elementary school.
While there, she received countless achievement and recognition certificates. For her first two years of middle school, Kymora attended Blair Middle School. She is currently in eighth grade, enrolled at Faith Academy School of Excellence. She has accomplished much during her short time at Faith Academy. She ranked superior for her science project, along with receiving outstanding scores on some of her test. She has also improved her relationship with God which is evident. Kymora has big aspirations for her future. She plans to attend Michigan State University for college. After that, she would like to become a mortician.
Being a mortician isn’t a very popular job, which makes Kymora unique. She has a profound interest in human skin cells and the behavior of the human body. Kymora and I have the same role model, our aunts. Her aunt inspires her, and she looks up to her. She hopes to follow in her footsteps and be successful. Kymora is a growing young woman of God, striving to be successful. She has accomplished a lot in her thirteen years of living. She’s done some things that many people have never done. Kymora’s Christian walk with God is growing and getting better each day. No one is perfect, but she is striving to please him and make him smile.
When asked, Kymora said that her favorite gospel song is For Every Mountain by the award winning, Kurt Carr. She koves this song because it shows how God can do for both you and me. Kymora’s favorite scripture is John 3:30 which states, “He must become greater; I must become less. ” When asked why this was her favorite scripture, Kymora responded with, “It means so much, with such little words and teaches me that I always have to give myself to the Lord. ” As we continue to grow in Christ, we should want more of him, and less of ourselves. Kymora has a desire for Christ and I can’t wait to see where God takes her in the future.
