In recent decades, the exploration of the universe has not been stopped. It has always been an unkonwn world which humans are curious about. With the developement of the technology, the outer-space is not a strange term to humans any more. Outer space is defined as “space beyond the atmosphere of the Earth. “(in dictronary. com) In other words, it is a space that is outside the globe. Humans have been exploring the universe for more than four hundrend years. People have always wanted to explore space and find other worlds.
The French satirist Cyrano de Bergerac in the 17th century wrote Histoire comique des etats et empires de la lune (1656) and Histoire comique des etats et empires du soleil (A Voyage to the Moon, 1662: With Some Account of the Solar World, 1754). These were books describing imaginary journeys to the Moon and the Sun. Then, people started to explore space. Exploration of space by people is gaining more popularity due to lack of resources,existence space, and cognition of the universe. As a result, lots of countries are starting to explore space.
This paper aims to introduce the topic of exploration of space in a very broad sense. Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to provide further information on exploration of space in terms of its causes,effects, and impact on modern society. First of all, regarding the causes of the exploration of space,certain issues need to be understood and studied very carefully. First of all, people desire to find another“earth”. Due to the fact that the population of the Earth is growing up every year, many locations are crowded.
Then,as we all know, Voyager 1 traveled across the solar system for 35 years and its need to more than 11 billion miles to escape. The spacecraft include a large equipment like two cameras, a nuclear power supply and Carl Sagan’s famous gold record that in its turn includes imagination, sounds, storing of music, greetings spoken in 55 languages, printed messages and a cover plate with a map of Earth’s position in the galaxy. Furthermore,people need to find a strong clean source of energy, for example, helium three, and solar energy. Thus,people are starting to explore space and utilize variaties of resources. People want to get better work, so government to give preferential policies to people. In my opinion, I think that teenger should take part in varities of practice activities. However, space exploration is not just only join in the outer space activities, there are some other people work in here.
For example, staff ground-based measurements, manufacture spacecraft scientific and technical personnel, as well as the production of parts related businesses. In a few words, exploration of space can promote the development of related industries deputy and increased the employment rate. Therefore, people explore space can get better employment oppotinities. In my opinion, exploration of space and development have been motivated by people are complex mixture of curiosity, including scientific research, globe cooperation, between find and search, and the value of resource.
In other words, if people can continue exploration of space, they will find more resourse thereby promote the development of the technology. As we all know, Neil Alden Armstrong say“That’s one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind”(Neil Alden Armstrong, 1969). In the future, with the developement of the technology, maby we can find another earth.
