The Black Eagle The Black Eagle makes their home in the forests from Pakistan, India and Indonesia to the Malay Peninsula. They are a large eagle. The black Eagles body is almost all black. Their cere and feet are yellow an they have brown eyes. They have a yellow to grey beak, and it has a black tip.
The base of their primary feathers and their under-tail coverts have white patches. Their body is 69 to 81cm long, and they will weigh 1 to 1. 6kg. They like to live in the lowlands, evergreen and montane forests that are 0 to 4,000 meters above sea level. They like slopes and mountain areas where there is tree cover. The will adapt very well to habitat change as long as they have some large trees. The will use sticks to build their nest and then line it with leaves. They will put their nest in a tree 6 to 20 meters off the ground. They usually put the nest near water. The male and female Crested Serpent Eagle will build a nest. Their nest is 50 to 60cm wide and 10 to 30cm deep. They will occasionally use an old nest.
The female will lay 1 egg, and the female will sit on it until it hatches in 35 days. The chick will fledge in 60 days after it hatches. The Crested Serpent Eagle is not considered endangered. The Little Eagle The little eagle is found living in Australia and New Guinea. The Little eagle is often seen flying over woodlands, forests and open country. They do not like rainforests.
