Wuthering Heights is the story of a passionate love between the two main characters, Heathcliff and Catherine Earnshaw. Theyre longing for each other result in violence and misery. The passion that Catherine has for Heathcliff has ruined the lives of a number of people in both Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange.

Catherine, who is the object of Heathcliffs obsession, becomes the fundamental part of his life, but in reality, Heathcliff is the one who murdered Catherine. Even after her death, Heathcliffs obsession deepens. In the book Wuthering Heights, by Emily Bronte, the characters Catherine and Heathcliff discover how love and passion affect their lives.
