“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ” (John 3:16) God revealed His unique love to a poor, ordinary person like us called Mary. He sent Archangel, Gabriel who declared to Mary, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women! Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. ” (Luke 1:28,30) My dear friend, God exhibits His love to everyone who seeks Him.
We come to now this truth from the Bible; “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth” (Psalms 145:18). Are you languishing without receiving such blessings, vexed by the heavy burden, do not worry. The Lord says, “I drew them with gentle cords, with bands of love, and I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them” (Hosea 11:4). True to this verse, God wants to draw towards Him, with His cords of love, any one who is moving away from Him, burdened by anxieties and worldly cares.
You will receive the presence of God in your life like Mary. Consider David’s experience! He professes: “I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved” (Psalms 16:8). Though David was a powerful king, did he not keep the Lord always near him? Don’t you want to share the experience of King David? God wishes to abide with you too. If you search for Him sincerely, you can find Him.
This is the key-note advice given by David and Abraham to their children, “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a oyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever. ” (1 Chronicles 28:9) “For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him. (Genesis 18:19)
My friend, God wishes to give you this experience even today. Rich or poor, whatever your situation may be, God wants to give His blessings of love to all who seek Him intently. The deceptive words of love of the people of this world may deceive you; do not be duped by taking them at their face value. But ‘the Word of God is living and powerful’ (Hebrews 4:12). His words ‘are spirit and they are life’ (John 6:63). His words never change. Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth and cling to His words of genuine love. As a result, you will yield fruits for Him.
