Statement Of Purpose Meng Electrical And Computer Engineering

We are encompassed in a computing and technological change that is fundamentally changing the manner in which we live and the manner in which we communicate as people. I am extremely energized with an unmistakable vision of committing myself into such a quick paced developing industry. Since I was a child, I have been captivated with computers and electrical devices. My passion lead me to investigate further, step by step I picked up the information to examine and probe them. It is exceptionally unmistakable that this part offers an extraordinary open door for adequate movement and propelled advancements keeping in mind the end goal to expound the abilities required for my ache to enter this field of study.

Electrical and electronics engineering is my passion and I recently graduated from my undergraduate studies with the dedication to gain even further knowledge. Going into graduate studies I plan to purse Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering in a more competitive, elite and international environment. There is only one logical destination for my postgraduate studies which is Canada, this is a nation that is outstanding and regarded for its development in Computing and Engineering, additionally fruitful organizations that are based there in this field. Studying abroad in Canada will build my scope of professional skills and furthermore enhance my worldwide point of view. Additionally I trust the best place for this to be accomplished is in Concordia University, Montreal Canada. It offers Facilities which are the best and most recent for learning and research, it additionally has grant winning teachers who can enable me to accomplish my objectives. Likewise I picked Concordia university since I need to learn practical skills which I will utilize later in my profession. In this manner I am applying to join your MEng of Electrical and Computer Engineering program beginning in Winter 2019. I am convinced that I am very much arranged for the difficulties for challenges for studying in this current ace’s program on account of my scholastic and practical foundation.

My academic experience thus far has provided me with several skill sets and practical knowledge, which will be useful when studying overseas at graduate level. As a high school student I excelled in subjects like physics, mathematics, applied electricity and also basic electronics. I was fortunate to have teachers who werewilling to guide me and encourage me because they saw I had an interest in thissubjects. Which then helped me broaden my knowledge,it was due to the adviceand guidance of my teachers and parents that helped me advance in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. As an undergraduate I noticed I really enjoyed programming as well as the applying this skill into engineering. I was introduced into computer programming which made me fascinated and intrigued. For example during myelectrical and electronics engineering degree, in my second year I was involved in a robotic vehicle project. This was a group project, as a part of which I tookprogramming and coding as task for myself because this was my core interest. As Iprogressed with my task my interest in programming started to develop more and more. My final year project was the perfect for me because it had my two passion which are electrical and electronics concept and also programming and for this reason I really enjoyed this project and I was able to complete the task. The project involved designing and building a programable dc-dc converter with the aid of an Arduino Uno microcontroller that can switch from on voltage to another and monitor the changes of the device to avoid malfunctions.

In addition to my courses. I have been very active outside the classroom with extracurricular activities to push myself outside my limit by pursing new experiences to broaden my horizon. I moved to the united kingdom at young age to purse my career, an experience although was quite difficult, it made me a more independent and confident individual. I am now comfortable adapting to new situation and interacting to new people who are different from me. As this experiences show I am highly motivated and proactive to acquire new skills and experience new things. This is why I have decided to continue challenging myself by studying my master’s degree in Canada. My goals in the future, I plan to take what I learn from the Canada and help develop my native country. The industries in my native country are growing rapidly but compared to more developed countries it is still in its infancy. By studying in your master’s program and possibly working for a period of time in the Canada. I expect to have the expertise and experience necessary to achieve my dreams.
