Criminal Justice System Interventions and Policies in the Wolf of Wall Street
Law should protect citizen from criminals like Jorden Belfort, who use power and position to defraud the people and economy. Using criminal justice system, if focus on punishing the offender after he commits crime, that is why Jorden Belfort is send to jail. Criminal justice follow an oppressive nature in punishment, after Jorden Belfort defraud stock securities investors, he is only sentence to jail after conviction. The process of conviction only happen where the offender prosecutor convince both the judge and jury beyond reasonable doubt that he or she is guilty of the offense or illegality.
